UPI: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will add two babies (twins) to their family this summer
Hi, I'm Melisse Hinkle and this is your UPI Entertainment Update on this 15th day of May, 2008.
Angelina Jolie will add two new babies to her family this summer. The actress has confirmed that she's having twins. But it was Jack Black, not Jolie, who first broke the news. The two stars were in an interview together at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, when Black reportedly said to Jolie, you'll have "as many as the Brady Bunch when you have these." Jolie then acknowledged that she is, in fact, pregnant with twins. The actress is reportedly due on August 19.
Anne Heche is getting a temporary break from her child support payments. Now that "Men in Trees" has been cancelled, the actress reportedly claims she can't afford the nearly $15,000 she's been handing over to ex-husband Coley Laffoon on a monthly basis. A judge is giving Heche a break for the month of July. The actress apparently had less than $35,000 in all of her bank accounts on Tuesday. That's according to an E! News report.
Only two competitors remain in the quest for the next 'American Idol.' Syesha Mercado was eliminated last night, leaving David Cook and David Archuleta to battle it out for the title. Mercado thanked her fans on Wednesday's show before singing her farewell song, a cover of the Alicia Keys ballad, "If I Ain't Got You." Judge Simon Cowell commented on next week's finale saying, "We're going to have a real humdinger."
Tony award nominees stepped out for a luncheon in New York on Wednesday. "Macbeth" co-stars Patrick Stewart and Kate Fleetwood, "Passing Strange" actor and composer Stew and "Thurgood" actor Laurence Fishburne all showed up at the Hilton Hotel for the event. Actress Patti LuPone was also on hand, celebrating a 'Best Actress' nomination for her work in the musical "Gypsy."
Meanwhile, members of the film industry are pouring into France for the Cannes Film Festival. The jury arrived yesterday for the opening ceremony and first screening. Jury president Sean Penn and jury member Natalie Portman both made entrances. Other arrivals include Cate Blanchett, Eva Longoria-Parker and Dennis Hopper.
That's it for now. Go to UPI.com for all the day's news...and have a great day.

Legend of Zelda - April Fool's trailer by IGN
Legend of Zelda (April Fools' Day) Movie Trailer Premiere
April 1, 2008 - [EDITOR'S NOTE: April 2, 2008 - 12:01 a.m. PST. Yup, you guessed it. The Legend of Zelda trailer featured here is part of an elaborate April Fool's Day prank. What follows is our original story announcing the trailer to the (in some cases) unsuspecting public.
Also: we've added a making-of video for the most curious of fans.]
Few videogame properties hold the cachet of The Legend of Zelda. As a film project, it's on the scale of Lord of the Rings. But no one has tackled a live-action adaptation of the storied franchise… until today. Production Company Rainfall Films has asked IGN to premiere the very first footage from their live-action Zelda film — a very literal adaptation of the magical epic — and, of course, we said, "Yes!"
Much like the indie gem Cloverfield, this project has been shrouded in secrecy and details kept close to the vest. What we do know is that the film is being written and directed by newcomer Sam Balcomb. Going the route of Star Wars: Episode IV, this production decided to cast all unknowns in the iconic roles. Link is played by JR Killigrew, Camille C. Brown portrays a very Elven Princess Zelda, and Gregory Lee Kenyon stars as Ganondorf. You may, however, recognize Camden Toy (see TV's Buffy and Angel) in the supporting role as Sahasrahla.
